Since 18 April, 2016, three new EU Directives on Public Procurement have been implemented in German public procurement law – the largest procurement reform for 10 years. The public procurement rules have been revised and modernised in order to increase efficiency of public spending, facilitating the participation of tenderers. The Staatsanzeiger conference takes the view of officials in charge of municipal procurement. Dr. Alexander Hübner will speak about public procurement effects of projects financed by EU or Member State funds and the impact of state aid in public procurement procedures.
