Lawyer Bettina Backes gives a lecture on copyright and image rights for film architects, art directors, production designers and scenographic experts at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. After a short introduction into copyright and image rights including GDPR and personality rights the participants will have the opportunity to discuss practical examples and questions and solve model cases. The lecture focuses on questions with regard to using objects, architecture and different works protected by copyright law for settings, in particular designs, trademarks, movies, pictures, sculptures, animation and figures. Furthermore the students will get to know different types of license agreements.
