At the Business Conference BREXIT, held in Stuttgart on 26 November 2018, Partner Dr. Thomas M. Grupp gave a speech on the impact of BREXIT on business contracts. On the one hand, he dealt with questions of the applicable law and jurisdiction. On the other hand, he analyzed special types of contracts, such as (company) purchase contracts, service contracts, labour contracts as well as banking contracts and shareholder/partnership agreements. The speech and the subsequent discussion were moderated by Reiner Kunz, regional Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. The event at Stuttgart’s Liederhalle with about 400 participants was jointly hosted by the Ministry for Economy, the Centre for European Economic Research and by several business associations from the German Federal State Baden-Wuerttemberg.
