Bettina Backes will give a lecture on image rights in a half-day seminar for creative professionals. With the introduction of the new data protection law, great uncertainty has arisen in the production and use of pictorial material. The seminar provides orientation, deals with copyright, data protection, and personal rights issues regarding photos, films, graphics, illustrations, and animations. Participants will receive information on image usage, how to license correctly and what is important when using Open Content. Creative people will learn which errors are to be avoided when drafting contracts, how the respective pay is calculated, and what must be taken into account when producing image material.
