As part of the award procedure, both bidders and contracting authorities are processing numerous personal data. The currently valid legal regulations of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) also require public contracting authorities to strictly adhere to specifications. The seminar offers an overview of the data protection regulations in the award procedure from the perspective of public procurement law and data protection law, specially tailored to the requirements of public clients, including examples in practice. Attorney Dr. Alexander Hübner and attorney Bettina Backes will lead the IHK event.
